          A day to day diary from John Kennedy Street - from the time that he entered the Civil War January 8th, 1862 until the time that he became a prisoner of war in the Vicksburg prison and later escaped and began his long journey home June 13th, 1864. His diary ends on April 9th, 1865, just five days before the end of the war. Book includes personal letters, poetry that he wrote while in the war, photos and newspaper articles that were also in his personal collection. $19.95.
